What is CONFIDENCE?
Is it a feeling or a personality type? Is it hereditary or can you develop it? Do you need confidence? The C word has always been a controversial one. Some people use a lack of confidence as an excuse. It's their reason to sit out challenges, their reason to cheer others on from the sidelines instead of participating in the game. Do you want to be confident? Do you want to be the one taking up the challenges and succeeding? If so, perhaps you need to view confidence differently. Its a very romantic idea to think you'll hear strings and see fireworks when you first lay eyes on the one you'll love. It's also a very romantic idea to think you'll feel confident before you take up the challenge. I'm not saying it can't happen, I'm just saying it's not likely... or perhaps necessary. Rather than putting all of your energy into confidence... maybe you need to shift your focus to another C word.... COURAGE.
