What will I learn and what skills will I build?
We are starting small and keeping it simple. You will learn:
- About perfectionism and how to push aside your inner critic in order to create
- Basic painting and drawing techniques
- About different equipment and materials
- How to create art intuitively and how to particpate in art for mindfulness
- How to “utilise” your art for your own home or for handmade gifts
What sorts of activities will we do?
Some examples of activities are: watercolour and acrylic painting, doodling, zentangles, finger painting, leaf/flower stamping, collage and collaborative projects.
Remember - this program is about building basic skills and loosening up your creative muscles - so we’re not going to get too technical or attempt to create an oil painting!

Where is the class located?
The class will be held at the Bianca Fenn School of Music 1/27 Simms Road, Greensborough. We will be located in the warehouse at the rear of the school but please enter through the office and you will be directed to the right location.
What should I wear?
Aprons will be provided however they can only provide so much protection so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little painty!
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! I provide all the materials and equipment for you - no need to invest in paints, brushes etc.
Are bookings required?
Yes. You will need to book in advance so that I can ensure that I purchase the correct amount of materials for the activity of the week. Ideally you will book a week in advance but please contact me any time prior to the day and I’ll see if I can fit you in.
Who is the teacher?
Check out the “Meet the Facilitator” section below.

The class is $30 per session and this includes all materials and equipment. You can pay as you go but payment is required 7 days in advance in order for me to purchase the materials required.
You can sign up for the whole term and I do encourage this as it allows you to build on your skills gradually and get the most out of the program as a whole. If you sign up for the whole term, the class will be discounted to $27 per session.
