Welcome to Bianca Fenn School of Music! (& CREATIVE HUB)
Individual and shared lessons are offered in singing, drums, guitar, bass, ukulele and piano. BFSM offer lessons for students starting from 4 years old.
Group classes which allow students to make friends while improving.
BFSM offers tuition in theory & aural skills for anyone interested, including VCE & tertiary students who are looking for extra support or assistance with developing their performance programs and AMEB guidance is offered for those who are looking at sitting exams.
Performance opportunities are open to all students as another way of applying skills learnt and to develop experience and confidence in a supportive environment.
The teachers at BFSM are passionate about music and teaching. Teachers share their knowledge, pass on skills learnt through experience & training and they support their students in the desire to advance musically; to become a professional musician or to tick it off their bucket list.
Lessons are also available online, so if you are unable to make it to Greensborough for your lessons, book online!
In your instrumental lessons, you can expect to learn:

- Warm-ups and exercises to keep you healthy and active
- Music Theory
- Performance
– Stage craft skills and and studio tips
- Establishing a healthy practice routine
- Repertoire development where songs are perfected using the technique taught
- Confidence, performance anxiety and getting past the nerves
- Developing tone and timbre
- Harmony

Bianca started "Bianca Fenn Singing Lessons" in 2012, teaching from a home studio in Briar Hill. Starting with 12 voice students, there was quickly no room for Dayna to teach drums as her student list grew to 44 within 3 terms.
The motivation to find a space for them both to teach alongside each other along led them to their now home in Simms Road. It was not necessarily designed for a music school, but it was obvious there was plenty of room for growth and the vision was born. The desire to provide affordable, quality music education that was accessible to everyone; performance opportunities that help to contribute to the musical culture in the 'burbs'; a supportive teaching environment for fellow musicians and teachers, excited the pair to the point of committing to make the dream a reality! Without too much thought, the less than creative name, "Bianca Fenn School of Music" was settled, not quite realising the extent to which the business would expand. The pair moved in 2 months before they got married and after lots of late night hours they began creating the space where they stayed for 12 years. In 2025, the opportunity presented itself to partner with Sherbourne Primary School. Offering their students the musical support and opportunities students desired. With space to spare, it became obvious that together, the local community would benefit from BFSM moving onsite to Sherbourne Primary School. With the support of an amazing teaching team and community, BFSM has found its place as a central creative hub in the area. |
